Insulted and ripped off by Gopher State Taxi - Airport Ride
So I was looking into pricing for taxis to the airport and most places required me to fill out a form for a price quote. Which I did and most got back to me within the hour through email(it was the night before we were leaving). However, Gopher State Taxi did not get back with a price but when I checked my email later that week on vacation, I had received one email the next morning confirming the pick-up (which I never requested) and then got another email later that day saying "WE WERE THERE AND YOU WERE NOT!" When I finally got back and replied, I explained that I had only requested a price quote and asked if I had been charged. The "owner" replied (by the name of Kenneth Kormendy):
"Please don't waste my time and pretend to be stupid. As indicated below, you filled out the Online Order Form and clicked "Submit". You were sent a order "Confirmation". NOWHERE below do you ask for a price quote. You wasted over an hour of the drivers time and his expensive gas." The best part of all of this?? I was charged for the ride I never took or confirmed.

0 This person is either stupid or a compulsive liar. She DID fill out the online order form. She DID NOT request a quote, and she WAS NOT charged for the trip like she said. There is no place on the order form to givr us credit card information. But the order form clearly states that when you click submit you are placing an order.
